- I have had a claim/claims in the last 5 years. Can you arrange insurance for me?

Yes, provided there have been no more than 5 claims in total, in the last 5 years.

- I want to use my car in relation to my business. Can you arrange insurance for me?

When choosing business insurance please ensure that vehicle is used in accordance with type of cover selected. If in doubt please contact us to ensure you are covered effectively.

- I am currently insured through my employer to drive a company car. Do I qualify for a No Claims Discount?

The insurer may require a letter from your company to confirm your driving experience and history on their policy. Whilst you will not automatically qualify for a no claims discount in your own right, you may qualify for an introductory discount based on a safe driving history. If you would like to know whether you will receive an introductory discount please call us on the number given.

- What type of cover can I take out?

You can take out the following types of cover:

Third Party Fire and Theft covers you for damage to other vehicles or property and fire or theft and injury you may cause to others.

Third Party only covers damage to other vehicles or property and covers injury you may cause to others.

- Can I pay by instalments?

Yes. You will be sent the relevant documentation relating to your payments.

- Can I drive my car abroad?

Yes. Your insurance will cover you when you travel to a country within the European Union, Norway, Switzerland or Liechtenstein. You must check your documents for full details regarding the maximum number of days cover. If you are planning on travelling and using your vehicle abroad you must tell us and an additional premium may be required.

- How do I make a claim?

Our insurers typically have 24 hour claims lines. Please find the telephone number in your insurance document pack. Full details of the claims procedures are also in your policy documents.

- What if I want to cancel?

All products have a 14-day cooling off period. Should you wish to cancel your policy, cancellations can be done over the phone/email, or in writing. Cancellation is subject to our fee of £25 if cover has not started or within 14 days and £55 at all other times, plus the insurer charge for the time on cover which is confirmed in your policy documents. We cannot refund any premiums whereby a claim has been made, or pending during the period of insurance. For customers paying by instalments you must pay the full balance of the full yearly premium.

- Will I still get a certificate of insurance if I buy online?

Yes. We send out certificates and documentation within 5 days of receiving your payment.

- When will my cover start?

As soon as your payment has been authorised, and you have selected immediate cover, then your policy will commence immediately. If you have chosen for your policy to begin on a future date your cover will commence at midnight on the date selected.
