Unfortunately, this insurance policy is not providing cover for the Volcanic Ash situation under any of the sections of insurance.
Under E.U Regulations, the flight companies do have an obligation to compensate for auxiliary expenses such as accommodation costs etc,
depending on the type of ticket you have purchased. Unfortunately the policy excludes this scenario of expenses refund.
As the circumstances are beyond your control, your insurance cover automatically extends, without charge, until such time as you are able to return to the UK.
